Our O&M colleagues are aiming high! 🕹️🛩️

Not all defects in the modules of a solar farm are visible to the human eye. Broken cells, contamination, or reduced performance – #thermography can be used to reliably detect errors and safety-relevant defects. For thermographic system checks from above, we rely on #drones as they not only save time during maintenance and inspections, but also enable thermographic overflights several times a year. This makes it even easier and quicker to detect module damage, for example. 😎

Alisa, Dominik, Moritz, Ronny, and Sebastian from our O&M team recently completed a drone training and got their pilot's licences! 👨‍✈️👩‍✈️ On the solar farm next to our headquarters in Kolitzheim, our partner SkyVisor showed them how to fly the drone correctly, what to consider during automated or manual flights, and how to evaluate the overflight.
