Kolitzheim (Germany) – BELECTRIC, member of Elevion Group, supports a cycling initiative that raises money for the German Children’s Cancer Foundation. On its bike trip from Berlin to Paris, the cycling team Rynkeby Berlin will be welcomed at BELECTRIC’s solar farm in Reddehausen.
Team Rynkeby Berlin covers a distance of 1,249 kilometres and a total cumulated elevation of 9,070 metres on its cycle tour for a good cause. In eight days, the charity cycling team travels from Berlin to the Eiffel Tower in Paris and raises money for the German Children’s Cancer Foundation. The solar company BELECTRIC makes a contribution and supports this initiative.
On the cycle tour’s leg from Heilbad Heiligenstadt to Marburg, Team Rynkeby Berlin therefore stopped at BELECTRIC’s solar farm in Reddehausen on July 7th. Almost 40 cyclists were warmly welcomed at the photovoltaic plant, which was commissioned in 2024, with refreshments for the last few kilometres of the day.
“As a medium-sized company with almost 600 employees, we not only have a responsibility towards our employees, customers, and business partners, but also towards society. We are all the more pleased to support an initiative that benefits critically ill children – the most vulnerable members of our community. Our special thanks go to Team Rynkeby Berlin for their great commitment and their visit to our solar farm”, explains Dr Thorsten Blanke, CEO of BELECTRIC, member of Elevion Group.
BELECTRIC employee Esther Jantosch (Head of Sales Central Europe), who is completing the eight legs of the cycle tour to Paris as part of Team Rynkeby Berlin, adds: “I am proud to be able to contribute, with every kilometre I ride, to a better, hopefully one day cancer-free future. Together with my fellow cyclists, I’m doing everything I can to arrive in Paris and raise more awareness for critically ill children.”
