We are aware of our role in society and our responsibility towards customers, business partners, shareholders, and employees. In our BELECTRIC Code of Conduct, we have therefore laid down clear principles that form the framework for our corporate and social behaviour. We expect the same from our business partners. BELECTRIC Compliance – these are principles of behaviour that also form the basis for the establishment of common standards and are therefore included in contractual relationships when working with business partners and suppliers.
Our role model function
Like a lighthouse, we always try to point the way and provide guidance to those who look up to us. We are aware of this responsibility. That is why we have a set of rules that gives us stability and guides our actions: our BELECTRIC Code of Conduct. As part of BELECTRIC Compliance, we are committed to compliance and integrity towards people and the environment, but also with regard to the development of sustainable relationships. We also view the payment of legal taxes as part of our social responsibility and as a fair contribution to financing and developing the communities in all the countries and municipalities in which we are successful as a business. That is why we organise our tax activities as transparently as possible.
What we expect of suppliers
In line with our role model function and our values, we ensure that not only we at BELECTRIC but also our partner companies comply with ethical and legal standards. This commitment to ethical behaviour is set out in our Code of Conduct for Suppliers. By entering into a contractual relationship, our suppliers commit themselves to complying with the Code of Conduct and to providing BELECTRIC and our shareholder Elevion Group with any co-operation required to verify this obligation.
Report if you notice anything
Whether you are a customer, business partner or employee of BELECTRIC: If you notice anything that does not comply with the BELECTRIC Code of Conduct, we expressly ask for your assistance. Report things that seem strange or suspicious to you. This can be done directly with our BELECTRIC Compliance division (compliance@belectric.com), with our external, neutral ombudsman, lawyer Dr Johannes Dilling (+49 221 933 107 40, info@ra-dilling.de), with the whistleblowing tool of our parent company Elevion Group (FaceUp) or with the external reporting offices. In all cases, absolute confidentiality and discretion are guaranteed. The matter will be carefully examined, and anonymity can also be maintained on request.
