Last week, we welcomed Dr Anja Weisgerber (Member of the German Bundestag) at our headquarters. The visit focused primarily on the increasing challenges related to integrating utility-scale solar PV plants and large battery energy storage systems into the grid. ☀️🔋 The prospects for renewable energies in Bavaria and in Germany were also discussed.
Dr Weisgerber explains: “The expansion of renewables must be pursued consistently. The Herleshof plant in my constituency of Schweinfurt shows how climate protection, biodiversity, and public acceptance can go hand in hand.”
