Your Tasks

Accounts Payable Invoice Processing
  • Enter supplier invoices into Precoro/QuickBooks.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
  • Route for approval, resolve coding or invoice discrepancies, and prepare for payment runs.
Expenses Processing
  • Receive, validate and code employee expense claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare expense batch for approval and payment.
Bank Payments & Reconciliations
  • Execute approved supplier payments in QuickBooks/online banking according to the payment timetable.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations, flagging and researching any variances for review.
Vehicle Hire
  • Process and manage payments for vehicle hire invoices.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to arrange and confirm hire requirements.
Ad-hoc Supplier & AP Support
  • Respond to internal queries on supplier accounts and AP invoice status.
  • Support the Accountant with aged creditor reporting and follow-up actions.
  • First line of support for external supplier queries

Your profile

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts payable role
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions)
  • AAT part-qualified (or equivalent) preferred
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Precoro or Dext advantageous
