Your Tasks
Are you ready to take high voltage to the next level? We're looking for a skilled and motivated HV AP & Commissioning Supervisor to take the lead on utility-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. In this hands-on role, you'll oversee critical commissioning activities, ensure electrical safety, and guide teams through the transition from construction to full operation. - Execute HV switching operations and ensure safe and compliant HV activities on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS assets
- Lead and supervise on-site commissioning activities in alignment with established procedures and safety protocols
- Work closely with Engineering, Commissioning, and Monitoring teams to develop and maintain high-quality commissioning standards, optimize system performance, and ensure a smooth handover to O&M
- Monitor subcontractor activities, audit commissioning processes, and support continuous improvement
- Provide regional leadership to O&M teams, mentor trainee engineers and authorised personnel, and maintain close coordination with the Authorising Engineer
- Collaborate with site teams, review field reports, and utilize software tools to document progress, resolve issues, and track project milestones
Your profile
- 4–5 years of experience working within a utility or renewable energy company in an HV operational role
- Must have: HV AP15 or equivalent certification
- Must have: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (City & Guilds or EAL)
- Must have: Comprehensive understanding of inspection and testing standards, and commissioning procedures for electro-mechanical systems on large-scale Solar PV and BESS projects
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Very good English skills for communication, writing reports and documentation
- Your skills: communicative teamplayer (m/f/d) with a professional and reliable way of working
- Willingness to travel
