- Writing a master's thesis on the topic: ‘Battery storage as a system service provider: Investigation of black start concepts and virtual inertia in grid-forming operating modes’
- Familiarization with the topics of black start capability and virtual inertia
- Comparative analysis of existing black start concepts and concepts for virtual inertia
- Analyzing and evaluating the implementation options for BESS
- Development of various technical concepts for implementation
- Summarizing the results and evaluating the concepts in terms of technical feasibility, reliability, cost-effectiveness and regulatory framework conditions
Your profile
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program with a focus on energy and electrical engineering (Master's degree)
- Must-have: Basic knowledge of power grids, power electronics and energy systems as well as battery storage
- Nice-to-Have: Digsilent Power Factory knowledge
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Your skills: communicative team player with an independent and organized way of working
