Four solar farms from our own project development connected to the grid ☀️💪🤩

We commissioned four solar power plants in #BadenWürttemberg, #Bavaria, and #Hesse. The PV systems were not only constructed by BELECTRIC, but also developed in-house. More than 140,000 modules on four sites can now generate around 80 gigawatt hours of electricity, which is enough to cover the annual requirements of a town like Rothenburg ob der Tauber. As always, one of the focal points during the realisation was the natural implementation of the systems. This also included flower strips, generous sowing with grass seed, and the creation of deadwood piles to provide shelter for sand lizards and slow worms. 🌼🦎

We are also making history with two of the four solar farms: We are adding them to the portfolio of our asset company BELECTRIC Greenvest and thus are entering the #IPP (Independent Power Producer) business segment. This means that we are selectively adding plants to our own portfolio and, as the owner, are also producing and marketing solar electricity. “We are expanding our value chain and complementing our expertise by looking through the glasses of our customers”, explains Thorsten Blanke, Managing Director of BELECTRIC.

The following plants were connected to the grid:
☀️ #Deubach, district of Main-Tauber-Kreis (48 MWp)
☀️ #Oberrammersdorf, district of Ansbach (10,7 MWp)
☀️ #Reddehausen, district of Marburg-Biedenkopf (7,6 MWp)
☀️ #Rieden, district of Nürnberger Land (10 MWp)
