EPCOur 360 degree PV solution

EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) has always been our core business. We adapt each solar park individually to the respective business case, always work closely with our suppliers and place the highest value on quality as well as the health and safety of everyone involved. More than 20 years of experience in the engineering, procurement and implementation of PV power plants speak for themselves.

E like Engineering: Individually to your business case

The planning and construction of solar power plants requires individual and project-related thinking and acting. That’s why we tailor each PV system to the respective business case and to the needs of our customers. We can optimise the design to reach an optimal NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return) or LCoE (Levelized Cost of Electricity). We guarantee you ideal project planning using site-specific 3D terrain models and simulation-based optimisation. In addition, our 360 degree service package also includes all steps from obtaining building permits to handing the final plant over to the energy supplier.

P like Procurement: High-quality components

A stable and sustainable system is only as strong as its individual parts. That is why we rely on high-quality system components. These include, for example, high-yield PV module technologies from leading manufacturers, fail-safe and efficient inverter systems as well as low-loss and weather-resistant cabling systems. To ensure that all work during the construction phase runs smoothly and that no unnecessary interim storage times arise, we have a cross-departmental logistics system. Our category teams are constantly in close contact with our suppliers. This enables us to react quickly and flexibly to local and project-specific circumstances.

C like Construction: Punctual and precise

On-schedule completion and the highest quality in implementation are decisive factors for the success of a solar project. When installing the system, we therefore rely on the latest construction machines. They enable fast, efficient and, above all, precise work. In order to assemble the substructure, we use GPS and laser measuring systems. We assemble the electrical systems, attach the PV modules to the substructure and lay the cabling system. With a final system check, we ensure that our solar park is ready for grid connection. From the start of construction to the end: The focus of our work is always on the safety and health of everyone involved as well as on a nature-friendly implementation.

More than EPC

Grid connection

With many years of experience from more than 500 PV projects, we act as your qualified partner in connecting solar systems to the medium-voltage or high-voltage grid. As a full-service power plant builder, we take care of the complete electrical connection of the system with switching, transfer and transformer stations, substations and cable connections.

Our in-house SCADA department works closely with our O&M. The team brings expertise from plants with more than 4.8 GW of installed capacity. From simple data loggers to hot-redundant server racks – we use the systems available on the market and always tailor our solutions to the needs of the customer.

Quality, health, work and environmental protection play an important role for us and run through all our company processes. We do not compromise and only work when it is safe to do so. The compatibility of our work with nature is also a top priority for us. In order to continuously improve our outputs, we deal with errors proactively as well as openly. Our aim is to provide the highest quality products to all our customers. This is proven by our ISO certifications ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) und ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management).

Planning transmission lines

We take over the planning and realization of the transmission line. Our skills include both flush drilling and plowing. In addition to internal expertise, we have been working together with external specialists for many years. Whether rivers, railway lines or motorways – no matter what obstacles lie in our way, we do not shy away from the challenge.

Our own site managers

Our experienced site managers are permanently on site and always keep an eye on all matters relating to the construction site. For example, they coordinate the sub-contractors involved and any work that needs to be done. They are permanently available to our customers.

Well-planned solar parks (bne)

We signed the “Good Planning” self-commitment of The Association of Energy Market Innovators (bne). In doing so, we agree to integrate our PV systems into the existing landscape and to promote biodiversity. More information can be found here.

Danny Stadler

“Our project management & construction team maximise efficiency in solar project delivery. That entails detailed project planning and a proper risk & opportunity management by developing a self-driven change & lessons learned culture. It is in our DNA to keep track of tasks, develop resources and follow schedules, costs and contingencies management by not compromising our quality standards. We ensure best practice for health and safety.”
