Head of Project Development & Permission BESS (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
From acquiring land for BESS projects to analyzing projects and creating risk assessments - you always keep an overview. You manage approval processes and work closely with business partners and internal departments. Then we should definitely get to know each other!
- Technical and disciplinary management of a team with the aim of developing and planning large-scale storage projects and securing areas until they are ready for construction
- Analysis and evaluation of projects with regard to approval processes, land securing, structural suitability and power grid connection, among other things
- Ensuring the quality of approval procedures with authorities and municipalities
- Compliance with internal processes for the preparation of project documentation, risk assessments and decision papers by the project managers and their project teams
- Interdisciplinary exchange and coordination with specialist departments with regard to planning, design and profitability calculations
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of renewable energies, electrical engineering or industrial engineering
- Passion for renewable energies, in particular photovoltaic or BESS projects
- Must have: Professional experience in the development of renewable energy projects
- Nice to have: Experience in securing areas and routes, with land use planning and approval procedures or in general building law
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Your skills: Communicative team player with strong negotiating skills, strategic thinking and an independent way of working
- Driving license class B
- Willingness to travel max. 40%
