Our solar farm Deubach

Construction progress in our diary

We are implementing a PV project with an installed capacity of 48 Megawatt in Deubach in the northeast of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. After completion, almost 89,180 modules will convert sunlight into electricity. An area of 380,000 square meters, or the equivalent of 53 soccer fields, will produce enough green electricity to meet the annual needs of around 15,000 households.

Special Features of the Solar Farm

The terrain of the construction area is challenging, as a slight north-south gradient is joined by a strong west-east gradient in one of the fields. In addition, BELECTRIC is building a separate substation for the power supply.

To promote biodiversity, numerous measures are being implemented, including the use of a special seed for the field larch.

A novelty: BELECTRIC will also take over the asset management for Deubach solar farm and add the solar plant to its own company portfolio.

The completion of our solar park in Deubach is on the home stretch. Of course, this had to be celebrated – all colleagues involved in this project came together and marvelled at the almost completed PV park. Until the commissioning, there is still some remaining work to be done.
