On the areas of our photovoltaic systems, #sheep tend to the greenery where possible. In our solar power plant in Schweinfurt-Oberndorf, which was commissioned for @N-ERGIE (Markierung) in 2013, a flock of sheep and their lambs are living the good life. They ensure that the modules of the solar park remain free from shading and therefore prevent performance losses. But that's not all: The greenery maintenance by our animal O&M colleagues is not only environmentally friendly and cost-effective, it also saves CO2. At the same time, the PV system offers the sheep a safe space including protection from the weather. This way, everyone wins! 😉
